My connection to what and how we eat began in the 1980’s when I was sick and tired of being ill and having doctors repeatedly serve up drugs as a solution. Likely you have heard this narrative before, although this was long before it was hip and cool for kids to eat healthfully. While my friends were drinking Coke out of Twizzler straws, I was reading ingredient labels and asking where my chicken came from.
Although the “food freak” to many, changing what and how I ate dramatically changed my health allowing me to take control of my well being when no one had answers. After years of unknowns, I was finally diagnosed with Sjogren’s, an autoimmune disease, along with related complications, including a rare but manageable kidney disease. Chronic illness has shaped most of my life and as early as memory serves, using my pain for purpose became my mission.
WTFork aims to meet you where you are, offering opportunities to explore and experience your relationship with food and empowering you to be the healthiest version of yourself. I am living proof that nourishing choices matter! Yes, I have plenty of degrees, but over the years, my clients, students, readers, and two children have been my greatest teachers. Stefanie is a nationally recognized Culinary Nutritionist, author, educator, speaker, consultant, and leading authority on eating to prevent illness and restore health. She is also the Founder of WTFORK, the no B.S. Roadmap to Healthier Choices. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist®, Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, and a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. She has collaborated with prominent integrative functional MDs to help their patients use food to heal, and for nearly three decades, she has helped transform the way people eat using hands-on experiences to inspire and educate, while offering practical tools for food lifestyle change.
Over the years, she has worked with those in movies, television, music, fashion and more. In addition, she has offered her expertise to global culinary icon Jean Georges Vongerichten as well as prominent institutions and organizations including Environmental Working Group where she was commissioned to write The Health Benefits of a Plant Forward Diet for the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health; US Autism Homes; Teachers College, Columbia University; Cornell Cooperative Extension; and Stony Brook University. She also has an extensive archive of broadcast, radio, print and digital contributions on the topic of healthy choices.
As a chef, nutritionist and innate healer, Stefanie uses food as a conduit to deep transformation. She empowers people to eat and live to their full potential. Her book, What The Fork Are You Eating!, is a must-read guide for anyone looking to make food changes, small or large, for optimal health.
In 2017 Stefanie was inducted into Les Dames D'Escoffier, an international philanthropic organization of women leaders in the field of food, fine beverage, and hospitality. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Nutrition Association, and sits on the advisory board of A Greener World and East End Food Institute.
A native New Yorker, Stefanie lives on the East End of Long Island with her husband, two very active sons and Faith, her beloved rescue lab. When she is not in her kitchen creating new recipes or feeding her family and friends, she is cheering her boys on in their respective sports, reading a good book, writing slam poetry, swimming in the bay, hiking in the woods with her pup, or running with disco blasting in her Airpods. Agnes B. Chapski currently serves as the COO of WTFork.com, an Eat It Production’s platform, and is the Founder of BluWave Connect consulting company. She has over 35 years of experience leading world class media brands through transformative change. Most recently, Agnes was the SVP, Group Publisher of InStyle, Shape and Health at Meredith Corporation leading all business development, marketing and sales initiatives.
Prior to that, she was President of NewBeauty, overseeing the development of the brand and creating a new company called Beauty Engine. Agnes spent the previous two decades at Conde Nast in roles such as Publisher, Chief Revenue Officer of Allure, Associate Publisher at Vanity Fair and Lucky. Before her distinguished career at Condé Nast, Ms. Chapski worked at Weider Publications as Vice President, Group Advertising Director for all their women’s titles and then as Vice President and Publisher of Jump.
In addition to her professional success, Agnes has been involved in numerous philanthropic initiatives. In addition to serving on the CEW Cancer & Careers board, she served as a Board of Trustee to the Emma Willard School, a nationally recognized boarding and day school for girls.
Agnes is a graduate of Smith College and resides in both New York City and Montauk with her husband and two children. She is an avid sports enthusiast and participant, and also strives to live an active, healthier lifestyle. She finds soulful nourishment in surfing and cooking with her family and friends.
Rachel Frank has an extensive background in creating and managing content to promote health and wellness education, successfully building awareness among individuals and organizations. In her 15+ years in dining services, she developed comprehensive health, wellness and sustainability initiatives utilizing her experience in marketing, writing, and design, all the while studying food and its connection to healing.
Rachel’s early career was spent in graphic design and editorial content-creation for a variety of industries, from luxury fashion to global print —until she realized her true passion for nutrition. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and a BA in Communications and Marketing from Hofstra University. Rachel lives on Long Island with her husband, their three children, and their dog. When she isn’t whipping up plant-based creations, you can find her out for a run, on the yoga mat, or curled up with a good book.
